Veteran music executive, producer and engineer J’Von James “4Mill” Thomas has filed a lawsuit in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court against his former longtime business partner Lee Tyrone “Freezy” Prince and multiple related entities, including Strong Arm Management, Inc. and Strong Arm Productions USA, Inc., companies directly affiliated with Flo Rida’s business operations.
Thomas previously served as Vice President of the Strong Arm companies and alleges that he played an instrumental role in the early development and rise of Flo Rida, born Tramar Dillard, providing management, recording, engineering, production, touring and artist-development services.
According to the complaint, substantial revenue was generated through Flo Rida’s recordings, publishing, touring, merchandise, licensing, brand partnerships and other commercial activity. Thomas alleges that he repeatedly sought financial records and accounting information concerning that revenue but was denied full access.
The lawsuit further alleges that an audit identified multiple accounts receiving substantial Flo Rida-related revenue and that critical audit information and underlying financial records were concealed from Thomas.
Thomas also accuses Prince of interfering with later business relationships by allegedly circulating false criminal information about him. Thomas maintains that the information concerned a different individual and alleges that its circulation damaged professional relationships and contributed to lost business opportunities.
The complaint further alleges that false information concerning supposed pending felony charges reached representatives connected to Flo Rida and contributed to Thomas losing a corporate performance opportunity and subsequent business.
Thomas is seeking a full accounting, compensatory damages tied to alleged unpaid or underpaid compensation, lost commissions, lost profits and lost business opportunities, along with disgorgement or restitution where legally available.
The lawsuit currently asserts claims including breach of fiduciary duty, breach of fiduciary duty based on alleged concealment of audit information, accounting and tortious interference.
Flo Rida is not named as a defendant and is not accused of wrongdoing in the lawsuit. T
The case is J’Von James Thomas v. Lee Tyrone Prince, et al., Case No. 2026-007782-CA-01, pending in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court.
