The National Weather Service released a flood warning at 9:02 a.m. on Wednesday valid from Thursday 6 a.m. until Saturday 5:30 a.m. for Greene, Pickens and Sumter counties.
The weather service informs, "Minor flooding is forecast for Tombigbee River at Bevill Lock and Dam."
