Florida is set to begin a major renovation of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, and it carries an eye-popping price tag.
Florida announced the project via social media on Thursday morning. Approximately $1.45 billion has been budgeted through a combination of what 247 Sports describes as “private giving, capital reserves, project-generated revenues, and financing mechanisms, including long-term debt, through approval of the Florida Board of Governors.”
