Forecasters watching Wednesday for severe weather

Areas in yellow in the map above will have a Level 2 out of 5 risk for severe weather from Wednesday night into Thursday morning. The National Weather Service noted that a Level 1 risk surrounds the Level 2 area, although it is not depicted this far out in time.

Alabama made it through April without a single tornado. Could that change in the first week of May?
