Bob Horner, a slugging third baseman who was National League Rookie of the Year for the Atlanta Braves at the beginning of his nine-year tenure with the team, has died. He was 68.
Horner’s passing was announced by the team on Tuesday afternoon. No cause of death was immediately available.
