The Alabama Funeral Home Board and Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office have launched investigations into a former south Alabama funeral director stemming from claims he did not provide headstones to families that had paid for them.
Tim Street, former director at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley, was arrested Friday by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with one count of first-degree financial exploitation of the elderly and later released from the county jail.
