A Pittsburgh Steelers free agent has found a new home in the NFC.

Former Steelers safety Chuck Clark is signing with the Detroit Lions, the team announced. Clark spent the 2025 season with the Steelers, totaling 51 tackles and a forced fumble in 15 games. Clark played a big part in Pittsburgh’s win over Detroit in Week 16, nearly picking off two passes.

The Steelers added former Chicago Bears safety and Pittsburgh native Jaquan Brisker to their safeties room to go alongside DeShon Elliott and Sebastian Castro. The Steelers will almost certainly continue to add to the position between now and training camp as they fill out their roster.
