Free speech group condemns Auburn change, say faculty input is ‘endangered species’

A major free speech organizaton has criticized Auburn University’s decision to dissolve its faculty senate.

The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) criticized the colleges’ decision to replace its faculty senate with a presidential academic advisory council and give administrators d more power over curriculum.
