The average cost per gallon of regular unleaded gasoline rose one cent on Friday to $4.37, despite a slight decline earlier in the week. The national average is still down two cents from a week ago. As of Friday, Oct. 9, the national average is $4.37 per gallon, up one cent from Thursday.
