Georgia businessman sentenced in $140 million Ponzi scheme tied to Alabama GOP members

Georgia businessman Edwin Brant Frost IV last week was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison and ordered to pay more than $76 million in restitution after pleading guilty to operating a Ponzi-style investment fraud that victimized approximately 300 investors over more than a decade, according to court documents.
