While congressional primary races in Alabama have been all the buzz because of the state’s ongoing redistricting efforts votes were still cast for several down ballot contests.

For races such as Secretary of State and State Auditor, Republican voters had the opportunity to pick their preferred candidates ahead of the Nov. 9 general election.
