Half-dollar-sized hail expected with thunderstorms to hit Colbert and Franklin counties Wednesday

A severe thunderstorm warning was released by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 3:34 a.m. in effect until 4 a.m. for Colbert and Franklin counties.

The storms could bring half-dollar-sized hail (1.25 inches).
