Wesley Howard said he rushed outside moments after learning a fence between his property and a neighbor’s home had caught fire in Sumner, Washington. Howard said stopping the flames before they reached either home was his only concern as he worked until firefighters arrived.

SUMNER, Wash. — A Washington state man says instinct took over when he discovered flames threatening his property in the middle of the night, prompting him to rush outside immediately — before he had time to get dressed, KOMO News reported.
