Hurricane Isaias could bring ‘sting jet’ to Alabama, weather service warns: What is it?

The National Weather Service in Birmingham on Thursday wanted to get the word about about the possibility of what it called a “sting jet” affecting central Alabama from Hurricane Isaias.
