Iconic restaurant on U.S. 280 torn down

With a lone palm tree standing as the last witness and final symbol of what was once an exotic and legendary dining locale on U.S. 280, the Superior Grill disappeared into a pile of rubble Tuesday as an excavation bucket pulled down the last standing walls.
