People with federal student loans may get a notification from the U.S. Department of Education soon about an important update to their repayment options.
The federal goverment has ended the student loan repayment plan known as “Saving on a Valuable Education,” or SAVE. About 7.5 million borrowers can choose from two new repayment plans, launching July 1.
