Gov. Kay Ivey has called for the lowering of all flags to half-staff across the state of Alabama on Wednesday in honor of Officer Dallas Hinton of the Thomasville Police Department, who died last week in an on-duty crash.
“A proud U.S. Marine, Officer Hinton brought to his role as protector of the public the same courage and commitment he forged in service of our country,” Ivey said.
