Jacquees is taking MOOD 2 from the speakers to the stage.
The multi-platinum R&B star officially kicks off his “Us Over Dem Tour” with K Camp today, August 17, in Phoenix, Arizona, following the release of his new 22-track album MOOD 2 via Cash Money Records.
Nearly a decade after his 2016 mixtape Mood helped establish his signature sound, Jacquees returns to the series with a full-length album built around love, intimacy, heartbreak, loyalty and the realities of modern relationships.
“10 years later… what started as a mixtape is finally an album. Some music never leaves you, it just waits for the right time. Thank y’all for keeping MOOD alive,” Jacquees shared.
MOOD 2 brings together an extensive guest lineup that includes Tink, Juvenile, K Camp, Ty Dolla $ign, Kodak Black, BLXST, Rob49, NOBY and Tyler Watts.
Across the project, Jacquees balances his contemporary R&B style with nods to the music that helped shape the genre. “He Kant” draws inspiration from Jagged Edge’s “He Can’t Love U,” while “Spend The Night” reimagines elements of Faith Evans’ ’90s classic “Soon As I Get Home.”
The album also includes previously released records “Physical” featuring Tink, “Let You Go” featuring K Camp, “Lick Back” featuring Juvenile and the Polow Da Don-produced “He Kant.”
The release adds another chapter to a career that has produced billions of streams and multiple Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum certifications. Jacquees’ catalog includes the double-platinum hits “B.E.D.” and “You,” along with fan favorites “At The Club,” “Come Thru,” “Your Peace” featuring Lil Baby and “What’s On Your Mind” with K Camp.
Now, Jacquees and K Camp are bringing that catalog on the road.
The “Us Over Dem Tour” begins tonight in Phoenix before traveling through Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, Birmingham and Memphis. The seven-city run concludes September 4 in their hometown of Atlanta.
