James Blake today releases a collaboration with COLORSxSTUDIOS, performing the title track of his new album, ‘Trying Times’ as part of the iconic Berlin-based music performance series.
The latest album from the GRAMMY-winning producer, songwriter, and musician made an immediate impact upon release in March, debuting at #3 on the UK Official Albums Chart and marking Blake’s highest chart entry to date. The album also claimed the top spot across the Independent, Physical, Vinyl, CD and Scottish Albums charts.
In support of ‘Trying Times’, he will be heading out on the road this month with an extensive sold out North American tour, including two nights at Brooklyn’s Paramount and a night at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
Blake’s singular blend of soul, electronica, hip-hop, and alt-R&B has shaped the sound of modern music. Across six seminal studio albums, Blake’s catalogue has amassed over 2.2 billion streams: his 2019 album ‘Assume Form’, featuring ROSALÍA and Travis Scott, garnered widespread acclaim, followed by his highest chart debut to date with 2021’s ‘Friends That Break Your Heart’.
