A man was arrested for attempting to bring drugs and cellphones to a correctional facility, according to law enforcement.
Jeffery Searight was arrested after a Barbour County Sheriff’s deputy noticed a suspicious package inside the perimeter fence of Ventress Correctional Facility in Clayton, according to Kelly Betts, the Alabama Department Of Corrections’ (ADOC) public information manager.
