Man who beat his 89-year-old grandmother to death among 2 Alabama inmates to die in prison

A man convicted of fatally beating his 89-year-old grandmother was among two William Donaldson Correctional Facility inmates to recently die.

Kenneth Ray Daniels was serving a life sentence for capital murder when he was taken to UAB Hospital in Birmingham Wednesday for further treatment of complications due to a significant heath issue.
