Man who stabbed girlfriend 10 times convicted of lesser charge in her death

Stephen Davis Jr. has been found guilty of causing the death of Carol Dowdlan, his then girlfriend, after a 2018 dispute where he stabbed her ten times.

A Mobile County Grand Jury returned a guilty verdict on manslaughter against Davis. He was also originally charged with murder but after deliberations the jury returned the lesser charge.
