Marble-sized hail expected with thunderstorms to hit South Central Alabama Tuesday – winds gusting up to 40 mph

A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Tuesday at 2:34 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 3:15 p.m. for Butler, Crenshaw and Covington counties.

The storms could bring wind gusts of up to 40 mph and marble-sized hail (0.5 inches).
