More severe storms possible today in Alabama after record-breaking rain

Isolated to scattered severe storms will be possible across the southern half of Alabama on Wednesday. Areas in yellow in the map above have a Level 2 out of 5 risk. Areas in dark green have a Level 1 risk today. The strongest storms are expected later tonight.

There will be a Level 2 out of 5 risk for severe weather for southwest Alabama on Wednesday, according to the Storm Prediction Center.
