The mystery of how the remains of three people, now identified as one of the homeowners and their son, wound up in a house in Connecticut so overgrown with vegetation it was impossible for marshals or an attorney conducting a foreclosure sale to tell if anyone lived there.
The state’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner announced Monday that two sets of remains — those of Sally Anne Cash, 54, and her son Brian Cash, 22 — were identified and that a third set is still being tested for DNA. The cause and manner of all three deaths is still pending.
