National gas prices hit $4.31 a gallon with multiple states paying over $5

Gas prices across the country continue to climb as the average price per gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is $4.31 as of Sept. 14. That’s up four cents since Thursday, Sept. 10 and 16 cents from a week ago, according to AAA.
