More than 200 Alabama students were named as semifinalists in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program among a pool of 16,000 other students across the country.
The National Merit Scholarship Corporation announced the 234 names Wednesday as part of the 72nd Annual National Merit Scholarship Programs.
