New health service lets Mountain Brook, Vestavia, Homewood residents skip the long waits

A new house call service is coming to Vestavia Hills, Homewood and Mountain Brook, allowing patients to skip urgent care lines and long waits for primary care appointments.

Medical House Calls, a company founded in Nashville in 2021, says it provides “concierge” and “a la carte” health care. The company will send a doctor or nurse practitioner to a patient’s home to treat illnesses such as cold and flu, strep throat and ear or eye infections, even sprains and strains, or to provide IV hydration and medical weight-loss management.
