New York Mets draft Auburn’s Sunday starter

The New York Mets selected Auburn pitcher Alex Petrovic in the sixth round of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft on Sunday. The National League team acquired Petrovic with the 181^st pick in Philadelphia.
