A New York-based company has been awarded a lease to refine graphite for the U.S. Army at Anniston Army Depot, in a bid to reduce American dependance on China for critical minerals.
Titan Mining Corp. will also process the mineral in Pine Bluff, Ark., as part of a Trump Administration directive to enlist private companies in developing unused federal land at military installations.
