A New Hope High School student was taken into custody on Friday morning after allegedly being found with a firearm.
School faculty and law enforcement officers found a loaded .380 caliber pistol inside the student’s car, according to Jessica Aguirre-Cantrell, the Madison County Schools Director of Public Relations and Communications.
