The nationally-ranked North Crowley Panthers (8-0, 5-0) travel to Vernon Newsom Stadium Thursday night with a chance to officially wrap up the District 11-6A championship. A win over the Mansfield Tigers (3-5, 1-4) at 7 p.m. would secure the title for coach DeMarcus Harris’ squad, which has already locked up a playoff berth and sits atop the district standings ahead of second-place Waxahachie (7-1, 4-1).
