A New York clerk is accused of throwing out ballots to help a local DJ win a school board election.
The New York Post reports the Nassau County District Attorney has launched an investigation into Hempstead Union Free School District Clerk April Keys after she allegedly ripped up voter ballots and threw them into a dumpster. Keys may face criminal charges for her role in helping incumbent Board President Victor Pratt, a Long Island disc jockey known as “DJ Vic-Lover,” win his reelection bid in May.
