Pea-sized hail predicted with thunderstorms to hit Alabama Wednesday – gusts could peak at 40 mph

A report was issued from the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 3:45 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 4:15 p.m. for Marion, Winston and Walker counties.

Wind gusts of up to 40 mph and pea-sized hail (0.25 inches) are expected.
