Brooks Cameron’s bases-loaded single in the bottom of the seventh inning capped a furious rally and handed Phenix City a 6-5 victory over West Chester, Pa., in a Little League World Series elimination game in Williamsport, Pa., on Monday night.
It was the second straight elimination game win for Phenix City, which advances to face Tacoma, Wash., at 2 p.m. Central on Tuesday. On Monday, the Alabama team rallied from 5-0 down, the largest comeback in Little League World Series history for a team from the state.
