The Dallas Cowboys head into Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft with a total of four draft picks at their disposal to hopefully further upgrade their roster. On Days 1 and 2 the Cowboys added S Caleb Downs, Edge Malachi Lawrence, and LB/Edge Jaishawn Barham. They also acquired LB Dee Winters via trade from the San Francisco 49ers.

With plenty of quality players still available at positions of need, they still have plenty of talent they can choose from on the final day of the draft. The Cowboys still have needs at various parts of the roster. We’ll highlight a group of positions below.

After not having a fourth-round pick in back-to-back drafts the past couple of years, the Cowboys currently have three thanks in large part to the two they acquired in the first round after trading back with the Philadelphia Eagles. That means we don’t have all that long to wait until they are back on the clock.
