The Foundation
LOS ANGELES, CA — April 2026 —
Some artists arrive trying to be heard. Others arrive already understanding how sound moves.
Raj Will has spent years on the side of understanding.
As an audio engineer, production manager, and founder of Beyond Average Sound, his work has shaped live and studio experiences for artists including Ne-Yo, Saweetie, Normani, and JPEGMAFIA. He’s also contributed to major touring productions, including time on the road with Mario during Mary J. Blige’s For My Fans Tour.
His résumé speaks. But it’s the mindset behind it that separates him.
Raj doesn’t move off moments.
He builds systems.
Systems Over Hype
There’s a discipline in how Raj approaches sound—measured, intentional, and rooted in clarity. Whether it’s engineering a live set or structuring a session, the goal is never just execution. It’s longevity.
That philosophy became the foundation for Beyond Average Sound, a platform focused on designing scalable creative systems for artists navigating both the technical and experiential sides of music.
Because for Raj, sound isn’t just something you create.
It’s something you construct.
Impact Beyond Music
Outside of the studio, the work expands.
Through his collaboration with the Hip-Hop Education Center, Raj contributed to the development of the K–12 Hip-Hop Music Education Guidelines, helping bring structure to a culture that has long driven itself forward.
He now leads Activating Inner Muse (A.I.M.), an initiative creating real pathways for underserved youth in arts, media, and entertainment in partnership with The Sola Foundation in South Central Los Angeles. At the same time, he continues shaping industry knowledge through the co-development of a Music Supervision course alongside DJ Paul Stewart.
This isn’t an extension.
It’s part of the blueprint.
The Release
On April 20, 2026, Raj Will steps into a new space with the release of his latest record.
It doesn’t feel like a pivot.
It feels like alignment.
The same principles that define his engineering—control, restraint, and intention—translate directly into the music. There’s no overreaching. No unnecessary noise. Just a clear understanding of what the moment requires.
He’s not chasing attention.
He’s creating presence.
The Hype Take
Raj Will represents a different kind of creative—one that understands that real influence isn’t just in visibility, but in infrastructure.
He’s spent years building the systems behind the sound.
Now, he’s stepping into it.
And it shows.
Raj Will’s new release arrives April 20, 2026.
