Reba McEntire is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the sitcom Reba with her seventh music capsule, the i’m a survivor EP, via MCA, according to an announcement dated Oct. 28, 2026. The announcement says the sitcom premiered 25 years ago this month, with McEntire starring as Reba Hart, described in the pitch as a sharp-witted single mother, in her first foray into series television.
The title track, “i’m a survivor,” was written by Phillip White and Shelby Kennedy, produced by Tony Brown and McEntire, and originally appeared on her Greatest Hits, Volume III: i’m a survivor (2001), according to the announcement. The capsule marks the first time all versions of the theme song have been made available, including the first release of the version made for the Reba show.
