Report: Trump order would seek to limit player movement

President Donald Trump is planning to release an executive order Friday that would seek to limit player movement in college sports, according to a report from Yahoo Sports.

In addition to limiting the number of times a player can transfer, order would also place a cap on eligibility, regulate NIL collectives and require funding for women’s athletes and Olympic sports. How it would seek to do is not yet known, though similar orders in the past have threatened to withhold federal funding from universities.
