Restored 101-year-old inn to re-open in one of Alabama’s quaintest towns

A small building that at first glance looks more like a cottage than an inn is re-opening as a six-room boutique hotel in June 2026. Summit Street Inn, located at 131 Fairhope Ave. at the corner of Summit Street, originally opened in 1925 in Fairhope, Ala. The inn has been recently renovated, according to a press release.
