RNC chief flamed for midterm prediction: ‘Completely out of his depth’

Republican National Committee chairman Joe Gruters is getting flamed online after predicting that the GOP will hold its congressional majorities in this fall’s midterm elections.

Appearing on NewsNation’s “The Hill,” Gruters told host Blake Burman, “But listen, I would say, ‘Bet on us.’ If you look at what we’ve done over the last two years, we have better candidates across the country in both the Senate and the House races, we have a lot more resources to spend.”
