Florida State and Georgia have canceled their football home-and-home series scheduled for 2027 and 2028, it was announced Thursday.
FSU athletics director Michael Alford said the “evolving scheduling mandates” within both the ACC and SEC — both are going to a nine-game conference schedule beginning in 2026 — led to the cancelation. The two schools are seeking to work out a neutral site game at some point in the future, he said.
