Second north Alabama officer on administrative leave after domestic violence charges

A Florence police officer faces allegations of domestic violence just days after a fellow officer was arrested on similar charges.

Carlos Rios, 31, was arrested on two counts of domestic violence in the third degree with aggravated assault on Thursday morning, according to the Jefferson County Jail.
