Severe storms possible in Alabama today: Here’s when and where

There is a Level 2 out of 5 risk for severe weather Monday in the areas in yellow above. There is a Level 1 risk for the areas in dark green. Storms are expected to move into the state this afternoon and track southeastward through tonight.

The National Weather Service thinks Alabama will face the prospect of scattered severe thunderstorms on Monday.
