Severe thunderstorm watch active for Central Alabama until Tuesday night

At 4:05 p.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service released a severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 11 p.m. for Bibb, Dallas, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Lowndes, Marengo, Marion, Perry, Pickens, Sumter, Tuscaloosa, Walker and Winston counties.
