Severe thunderstorm watch active for Central Alabama until Wednesday night

On Wednesday at 1:20 p.m. a severe thunderstorm watch was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 9 p.m. for Autauga, Dallas, Greene, Hale, Lowndes, Marengo, Perry and Sumter counties.
