South Alabama man sentenced as first conviction under state’s criminal enterprise law

A south Alabama man, the first charged and convicted under Alabama’s “criminal enterprise” law, received his sentence Thursday.

According to the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office, Marcus Cobbs Jr. was sentenced to 25 years in prison for trafficking marijuana in furtherance of a criminal enterprise.
