South Alabama placed under a dense fog advisory until Wednesday morning – visibility as low as 1/4 mile

At 1:48 a.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 9 a.m. for Washington, Clarke, Monroe, Conecuh, Butler, Crenshaw, Escambia, Covington, Mobile and Baldwin counties.

The weather service informs, "Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog."
