South Alabama under a red flag warning until Monday evening – enhanced fire threat

On Monday at 9:56 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a red flag warning in effect until 6 p.m. for Choctaw, Washington, Clarke, Wilcox, Monroe, Conecuh, Butler, Crenshaw, Escambia, Covington, Mobile and Baldwin counties.

Winds are forecasted to be northeast 10 to 15 mph and relative humidity as low as 15 to 20%.
