A man who reportedly opened fire on Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies was taken into custody after an hours-long search.
Triston Wilhite, 39, is charged with attempted murder, third-degree domestic violence/aggravated assault, and discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling, sheriff’s officials announced Wednesday.
